Of the eleven buildings currently located on the site, five buildings are on their original foundations. The Overing House dates to the 18th century and is the oldest of the original buildings. The dependencies such as a corncrib and a stable were added in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The remaining buildings were added because of the imminent threat of their demolition if they stayed on their original sites.
